Construction

This American Professional Jazz Bass is made of an Ash body, not only does this look stunning in a natural finish but provides for ampul sustain and a fantastic mid-range, yet keeping the guitar relatively lightweight and comfortable. Fitted to the beautiful Ash Body you have a maple neck with a new updated Slim C profile paired with a 9.5" fretboard radius allows for ampul grip across the full length of the neck. Finished off with a Satin Urethane finish on the back of the neck you get enough grip under any conditions with no room for spilling or misplacing fingers.

Electronics

The Fender American Professional Jazz basses come fitted with a set of the new V-Mod Single coil pickups which use alnico 5 magnets on the treble side and alnico 2 on the bass side to deliver an accurate classic tone with all the vintage warmth and crisp tones you could ever hope for from your Jazz bass. All controlled from two independent Volume controls one for each pickup, this allows you to blend the two pickups together to find your perfect balance rather than choosing between them, you then have a master tone control to roll in or out as much as you wish.
