Fender BassBreaker 15 Guitar Amplifier Head

    Vintage Looks, Modern Sound

The Bassbreaker 15 packs in a lot of technology underneath that distinctive grey tweed style cabinet. 3 12AX7 pre-amp valves and 2 EL84 power-amp valves work tirelessly to give you an astonishing tone even before you begin tweaking. The Bassbreaker 15 presents you with a plethora of controls from the standard bass, mid and treble adjustments to exclusive control such as the 3-level structure settings. When active, this delivers three distinct tonal flavors and overdrive levels, depending on your requirements.

    Extreme Versatility

The Fender Bassbreaker 15 Amplifier head comes with a great range of connectivity options making it ideal for stage or studio. A 1/4 inch effects loop lets you hookup your existing pedals to add to the built in reverb functionality to give a great performance. The Bassbreaker also includes a switchable speaker-emulated XLR line output and ground lift complete with power-amp mute which is ideal for the recording studio. For huge tone, volume and functionality without any sacrifice on portability, the Fender Bassbreaker 15 Amplifier Head stands out as one of the best in this price range. A head unit that will be at its best for many years, wherever you want to play.

    Rock Concept

As one of the smallest members of the Bassbreaker family this small amplifier has a lot to live up to. This series of amplifiers is based on what might have happened in the 60s if Fender decided to go after the rock amp market instead of the country and blues players. This means more aggressive midrange, more gain and a more British like tone.

    Modern Sound

Unlike some of the bigger models in the Bassbreaker line that are based on legendary Fender amps the 15 is a completely new design. This really comes through in its tri mode setup and how it can handle everything from soft crystal cleans to crushing high gain without any pedals. The key to this is the three way mode switch that goes between low, mid and high settings. In low you get classic Fender clean tones although with a bit more midrange edge. In mid mode you start to get some great blues and rock crunch similar to old 60's gold piped amps. Finally high mode really lets you dig in with massive chords and soaring leads as you get in to a more modern sounding hard rock tone territory.

    Studio or Stage

This amplifier has a bunch of features that make it perfect for both studio and live use. At 15w it is more than pokey enough to cut through a small band and with the addition of a second cab would handle mid-sized gigs with ease. As well as being great for live use this amplifier would fit right into any professional studio. The amplifier has a XLR line out on the back of the head meaning you could go straight into an Interface and record silently using recording software and with some cabinet simulation you don't really get a much better amp for bedroom recording.
