Construction

Sticking to their roots the body is the classic Telecaster shape which we have all come to know and love. Starting with a solid single piece Ash body to allow for ampul sustain and a fantastic mid-range, yet keeping the guitar lightweight and comfortable. Finished in Fenders stunning 2-colour sunburst the guitar truly looks as good as it sounds. Fitted to the body is a maple neck & fingerboard contoured to an extremely comfortable Soft V contour, this neck shape tends to be kept for limited run models and custom shop guitars bringing a fantastic feel to a more affordable price point.

Electronics

To match the tonality of the Ash body the Fender Classic Player Baja Telecaster comes equipped with a Custom Shop single-coil Broadcaster pickup in the bridge position, and a Twisted single-coil in the neck position. Controlled by a master volume pot, a master tone pot, and a 4-way selector switch, and an S1 selector switch. The Tonal choice and variety on this guitar at this price point listed below are the mass amount of tonal options available to you on this truly stunning guitar.

All the tone choice you could ever need

• Position one: bridge pickup only
• Position two: bridge and neck pickups in parallel
• Position three: neck pickup only
• Position four: neck and bridge pickups in series

Engaging the S-1 switch on this particular Telecaster introduces out-of-phase circuitry to blade switch positions two and four only, with positions one and three remaining unaffected. This produces a thinner and more-hollow tone of the kind often heard in, for example, funk and early electric blues.
