Graham Coxon is unquestionably one of the most influential UK guitarists of the past few decades. Such is his talent that even Noel Gallagher put aside previous animosity with Blur to call him “the most gifted guitarist of his generation”. Coxon’s playing has spanned an astonishingly broad sonic palette throughout his career, but the constant was often his choice of instrument, a Fender Telecaster most often being the number one choice. With this in mind, the Fender Graham Coxon Telecaster has been announced for launch in Europe only. The ash bodied instrument features great vintage looks alongside more unusual modifications. Whilst the blonde finished body might remind its viewer of a ’52 tele, the tortoiseshell pick guard and 70’s style headstock decal create an instrument that is far more eclectic in appearance. And its eclecticism doesn’t end there. With a Seymour Duncan ’59 SH-1 humbucker at the neck, and a vintage single coil at the bridge, the Graham Coxon Tele is equipped, unsurprisingly, for a broad range of tones, from classic tele tones, to to those that are warmer and rounder. At the other end, the neck is a ‘C’ profile with a rosewood fingerboard and urethane finish. The Fender Graham Coxon Telecaster Blonde Features:
