V-Mod Pickups

If you are looking for a true Strat Single-coil sound then look no further! A great set of vintage single-coil pickups should sound clear and crisp, have a huge dynamic range, and be able to get gritty and aggressive when needed. Designed by the pickup guru Tim Shaw, this set of V-Mod single-coils to do just that. But unlike vintage pickups, the V-Mod single-coils are crafted with different alnico magnets in both pickups. This means you'll enjoy consistent output across all the three pickup positions. And the onboard treble bleed circuit ensures your tone stays clear and present when lowering the guitar's volume.

Construction

Made of the highest quality alder the body is not only lightweight but feels and sounds fantastic. Paired with a maple neck and rosewood fretboard fender really are sticking to their roots with the traditional 'strat' styling. With slight changes from the American Standard such as a chunkier Deep 'C' Neck profile and narrow tall frets you'll feel the difference in your hands as it allows you a much better grip of the neck or more precise playing.

New Neck Profile

The new Deep-C neck profile that you'll find on the Fender American Professional Stratocaster is a slight change from the Fender American neck players have been in love with for years. By adding a thicker profile to the back, the Deep-C carve fills your hand perfectly while never inhibiting your playing technique, giving you ampul grip allowing for more controlled and precise playing. Your fingers will immediately notice how much control they have on the fretboard's narrow-tall frets, chosen as the most popular fret size to come out of the Custom Shop.
