      Hofner MOD Design Verythin Guitar

Based on the original classic Hofner Verythin guitar body shape from 1960 with the body depth of only 1.25 inches. The Hofner Verythin was extremely popular with groups during the 1960s beat boom era. TheHofner Verythin CT not only captures that unique 60s sound but also has the ability to produce tones ranging from deep gutsy blues through to cutting distorted rock. This model is finished in a beautiful matt black finish. A Bigsby Tremolo is fitted to this special Hofner edition adding to the overall style and sound. Fitted with a centre spruce block in the body to produce more sustain, deeper tones and less feedback you''ll find this Hofner Verythin is a guitar that delivers full on style, tone and playability.

Hofner MOD Design Verythin Guitar Review

      Callam:

My initial thoughts on the guitar were that it stood out a mile from everything else we had here in store and had that 60s iconic look to it. If you are into the mod-era you'll really love the look of this guitar it reminds me of old Lambretta scooters, Parka coats and the rough haircut to go with it. From a players point of view the guitar feels very comfortable to play the neck shape isn't to my personal taste but then again thats all down to the individual persons preference. With regards to the sound you get exactly what you would expect from the Hofner very thins! a clear and warm sound in the neck and jangly high end influence from the bridge. Great build quality and a fantastic instrument for anyone looking to get that classic 60s look and sound.
