The new HP-203 digital piano brings new piano sound and a refined realistic touch to a beautiful cabinet design. It boasts a stunning 88-key multi-sampled piano sound, along with the new PHA II keyboard with a dramatically wider dynamic range. Continuous damper pedal for richer expressiveness provides an acoustic feel in a digital piano.

PHA II (Progressive Hammer Action) Keyboard

For the most authentic acoustic grand piano feel, the HP203 is equipped with the new PHA II keyboard with Escapement. This amazing new keyboard technology offers the same natural response as a grand piano, with a heavier touch in the lower range and lighter touch in the upper, and with lighter resistance on pianissimo passages and stronger resistance on fortissimo just like a well-maintained acoustic grand. It even faithfully reproduces the escapement “click feel” of a grand-piano action.

Continuous Damper Pedal

The Roland HP203 digital Piano offers seamless continuous damper pedal control, allowing you to obtain the perfect amount of damping or attenuation at all times. Experience the most realistic and expressive piano performance.

Elegant Cabinet

The HP203 is built into an attractive, elegant cabinet with front legs. Adding to the appeal are Roland’s gorgeous finishes: choices include classic Mahogany and a new high-gloss Satin Black.

File Playback via USB

TheRoland HP203 digital Piano can play songs by itself* — an ideal for parties and gatherings. Simply import a Standard MIDI File via USB and enjoy as the HP-203 plays the music automatically. WAV files can be played via USB, as can audio CDs from an optional USB-CD drive. There’s even a Center Cancel feature for minimizing pre-recorded vocals so you can play and sing along to your favorite CDs. *Note: While the HP-203 can play songs automatically, it does not have Roland’s player-piano-type “moving keys” feature.

Play and Sing Along

More than just a great piano, the HP203 can also play back audio CDs from an optional USB-CD drive (commercially available in market) for play-along fun. There’s even a Center Cancel feature for minimizing pre-recorded vocals so you can play and sing along to your favorite CDs.
