        EF450c Body

        Body

NEX Body Shape: With all the benefits of a Jumbo body shape but with the extra comfort the NEX body shape is large enough to give a full and deep sound yet with the curves allows for extreme comfort when playing sat down or stood up. Woods: Starting with a Thermal Treated Spruce top in which the spruce wood for the guitar tops are baked in a controlled high-heat, low-oxygen environment. The result is the volume and tone of a well-seasoned vintage guitar in a brand new instrument. Matched with a Flame maple back and sides this gives you all the clarity and punch you would possibly need from a guitar.

        EF450c Body

        Neck

The neck profile of a Takamine guitar is offset like an asymmetrical letter C, slightly thinner on the bass side, so that it fits the natural shape of your hand. This improves playability by reducing the distance the wrist must move when the thumb is moved toward the first string, resulting in a comfortable feel and an exceptional playing experience. A maple neck means lightweight yet comfortable feel to it and matched with a striped ebony fretboard this guitar not only screams comfort and quality craftsmanship but looks absolutely stunning! Along with the beautiful striped ebony board there is an extravagant floral Pearled inlay design which is something to admire! all hand carved out and fitted precisely not only is this guitar

        TLD-2 Pre-amp

The Takamine line driver preamp (TLD-2) is a simple circuit designed to buffer the pickup and boost the current of the signal to eliminate any degradation with long cables. It is clean and quiet with a minimal amount of wiring and is discreetly mounted within the output jack assembly providing no outward sign of on-board electronics. The TLD-2 does have 3 simple tone shaping controls if you care to extract and tinker. But you are likely to find the preset TLD-2, combined with our renowned Palathetic pickup, as Takamine's warmest and most natural acoustic - electric tone yet, and that's saying something.
