TD6 Module

The brain of the Roland TD6KX is the TD6V Percussion Sound Module, the same stylish module that powers the TD6KW. So whats different about this new kit? Well, better snare and tom pads for starters! The TD6KX includes a PD105BK 10" mesh V-Pad for the snare, featuring dual-trigger capability for playing separate head and rim sounds. Three PD85BK 8" mesh V-pads for the toms offer a natural feel for better expression.

Improved Ride Cymbal

On top of this vast improvement, Roland have also given drummers three great V-Cymbal pads; the new CY12R/C ride is not only larger and more responsive, but enables separate bell triggering. The FD8 Hi-Hat Controller has a very realistic hi-hat sound with smooth transitions between open and closed. And all of this mounts conveniently onto the very chic MDS6C rack.
