A new Cabinet design for Yamaha Clavinovas
The new range of Clavinovas for 2005
Yamaha are constantly improving their digital pianos and the all new Yamaha
CLP240 is no exception. The cabinet is based around a traditional upright
piano. The stereo sampled piano is based upon Yamahas own AWM sampling
technology. Every few years Yamaha introduce the lastest developments into the
new range, so digital pianos just get better and better.

- Its more interesting because of the choice of voices
- You can record and hear yourself play
- Its compact
Digital Pianos suit modern day living.
Digital pianos allow you to play when you want to play. you dont have to
worry about disturbing the rest of the household or the neighbours. the more
you play the better you get. The betterv you get the more you want to play. And
now with the latest sound developments the best sound comes from a Clavinova
What makes the CLP240 special ?
Compare the CLP240 to the CLP230 and youll find a big differance in sound
quality, the amplication is twice the power, giving a richer deeper sound . The
piano sample is dynamically sampled. On a real piano when you play a note soft
it is soft and quiet, when you hit it hard it is loud and bright. This is what
makes an acoustic instrument special. A Clavinova is a copy of an acoustic
instrument, the closer we can get to the character of the real instrument, the
better the Clavinova will sound. Bear in mind that the dynamic stereo samples
are taken from a top of the range Yamaha concert grand.
the USB to Device facility means that you can save all your songs on a USB
Stick, this is a really cool feature
