This Fender Mexican telecaster 1996 50th anniversary sunburst is a highly regarded, workhorse electric guitar. This specific year sits in a transitional "golden era" for Fender’s Ensenada factory in Mexico.

Unlike modern Telecasters where strings feed through holes in the back of the guitar body, 1990s Mexican Standards used a top-loading bridge, this makes the strings feel slightly looser which makes playability and bending a breeze! Made famous by players such as Albert Collins, Keith Richards, Bruce Springsteen, Prince and Rick Parfit just to name a few!

The Telecaster has great tuning stability as it has a fixed bridge (no vibrato/whammy bar system), it stays in tune incredibly well, even during aggressive string bending or heavy rhythm playing.
