Condition Details

Our 1st Gen Korg Kronos 88 is in great used condition. There are some very minor superficial signs of use here and there and the keybed is slightly noisier than usual due to its age, but none of this affects the overall performance. Users can sample outputs, re-import WAV files, and enhance productions with effects, automation, and detailed editing tools. Finished tracks can even be burned directly to CD via USB.

KRONOS includes 16 high-end effects processors divided into insert, master, and total effects. With 185 algorithms—ranging from reverb and delay to amp simulations and vocoders—each effect offers up to 72 editable parameters and real-time modulation. Every track also features a 3-band EQ for precise sound shaping.

Designed with live performance in mind, KRONOS offers an intuitive interface and set-list functionality. Users can organize programs, combinations, and songs into 128 customizable set lists, each with 128 slots. A large TouchView display ensures clear navigation, even in low light, while built-in EQ allows quick adjustments during performances.

Smooth Sound Transition technology ensures seamless changes between sounds, preventing abrupt cutoffs. The 8-inch TouchView display provides a clear, responsive interface with detailed visuals, making operation intuitive and efficient.

KRONOS also offers extensive physical controls, including joysticks, faders, knobs, and pedal inputs for expressive performance. It comes in 61, 73, and 88-key versions, with the higher models featuring weighted hammer-action keyboards for a realistic piano feel.

The workstation integrates easily with computers via USB, functioning as both a MIDI controller and audio interface. It supports editor software and plug-ins for DAW integration, as well as USB storage, Ethernet data transfer, and external controllers. With multiple audio inputs/outputs and upgrade options, KRONOS is a highly flexible production and performance tool.
