The HX Stomp amp and effects processor delivers HX modeling in a performance-ready pedal with eight capacitive-touch footswitches. The same SHARC DSP chip found in Helix enables it to run up to eight processing blocks simultaneously, and the foot switches let you access and control those blocks in powerful ways.

Top Quality Tones

the HX Stomp uses the same SHARC audio engine technology used in the top of the line Helix model. This technology allows the Stomp to accurately replicate both modern and vintage guitar amplifiers, no only in their sound but down to a component level. This means you still get all of the tonal characteristics and nuances which these make these amps so iconic!

HX Cabs & Impulse Responses

The Stomp model also comes loaded with Helix cabinet models which are the same quality as 2048-point impulse responses whilst using a lot less DSP power. As well as this you have a choice of 16 different microphone options and various different positions to give you studio quality control either on stage or in your bedroom! If none of these are to your taste you do also have the ability to load any of your own IR's (Impule Responses) in to the Stomp.

Accurate and precise effects

Using line 6's new HX modelling technology the HX Stomp is able to accurately re-create both vintage and modern effects down to a component level. This applies to even notoriously difficult-to-model effects such as germanium fuzz and ?bucket-brigade? analog delay pedals. They capture all of the unique characteristics and allow you to tweak them to suit your sound.

Easy to use interface

The Stomp has a colour LCD screen which is brightly coloured making it easy to see and understand. In the standard screen is displays your current effect chain and from here you can swap out, add or remove effects, amp models, cabinets and how they are routed with ease. The Stomp also has dual function foot switch which can be tapped to edit and tweak parameters on the fly without having to changing anything over or swap to different menus. If the on board interface wasn't easy enough to use you can also connect up to the HX Edit software. This lays everything out in front of you on your computer screen and gives you the ability to drag and stop things in and out of your signal chain with ease!

Live use

In live gigging situations is where the Stomp comes into its own. With the snapshot functionality you can easily and seamlessly swap between 3 different variations within each preset. These snapshots can change multiple parameters, pull effects in and out and swap up your whole rig at the touch of a single switch. There are a wide variety of routing methods available when it comes to connecting up the HX Stomp which can be as simple as plugging straight into a power speaker or amplifier to a four cable routing method and many more. Not just for guitar players the Stomp has switchable line level inputs to make it useable for a wide variety of situations such as for keyboard players, Dj's and producers as well!

Your all in one Hub

HX processors can serve as command centers for any rig. MIDI messages can be sent manually via footswitches (or an optional expression pedal), and up to six commands can be sent automatically at preset or snapshot recall. Even QWERTY hotkey commands can be sent via USB.
