The PRS SE McCarty 594 Singlecut is a beautiful, versatile, vintage style Indonesian workhorse. Featuring a shorter 24.594-inch scale length from which it derives its name, this PRS yields a looser string tension which makes bending smooth and gives it a warm open voice.

Renowned guitar maker Paul Reed Smith famously noted that the exact 24.594-inch scale length was born from measuring iconic vintage single-cut guitars. He discovered that real 1950s instruments were not exactly 24.75 inches as advertised. Paul stated that this specific fraction of an inch is what gives the guitar its looser string tension, sweet harmonic overtones and comfortable fretting feel.

• Coil-Splitting Mechanics - Independent push/pull coil-splitting on the two tone knobs. PRS uses a resistor-based layout When you pull the knob up, it drops the output of one coil while keeping it subtly active. Resulting in a highly authentic, punchy single-coil sound
• 3-way toggle pickup selector switch (Neck, Both, Bridge)
• Dedicated Volume and Tone knobs for the neck pickup, alongside a separate dedicated Volume and Tone knob for the bridge pickup.
