Yamaha Pacifica 012 Black

The new Yamaha Pacifica 012, designed similarly to the popular Pacifica 112, features a double-cutaway body and includes a bridge-position humbucker along with two single-coil pickups. The five-position pickup switch enables access to classic sound variations, while the vibrato bridge is a vintage design with six adjustable saddles, ensuring precise intonation and a smooth setup.

The construction materials include rosewood, maple, and Agathis/Nato, contributing to a balanced tone with clear responses across high and low frequencies, which is essential for developing good playing technique. The combination of humbucker and single-coil pickups offers a versatile range of sounds suitable for various music styles, including rock, funk, blues, country, and jazz, all accessible through the five-position switch and the straightforward tone and volume controls.

The tuning mechanics are designed for reliable and stable tuning adjustments. The neck is slim and crafted for ease of play and comfort, while precise fret placement ensures the instrument stays in tune, especially when playing further along the neck, which is crucial for group learning. The through-lacquer finish protects the guitar from humidity, ensuring stability in adjustments and preserving its appearance over time.
