PSR-S975 Overview

The PSR-S975 is a professional performance workstation with more content and a larger memory capacity for expansion packs than the previous PSR-S970 model. PSR-S975 is equipped with a host of powerful performance features, flexible audio recording and playback functions and a mic/guitar input, making it ideal for live use on stage, in the studio or at home. In addition, it even features a graphical user interface for Yamaha's Virtual Circuitry Modeling (VCM) effects and the vocal harmony function.

Yamaha PSR-S975 is the flagship PSR-S series keyboard and replaces the popular PSR-S970 model. The new PSR-S975 is now equipped with a larger 768MB expansion memory for loading new sounds, styles and registrations from Yamaha’s premium library.

The PSR-S975 has a 61 key keyboard with touch response. There are a total of 1625 voices and 523 styles, including audio styles & DJ styles.

Effects have been enhanced, using Yamaha’s Virtual Circuit Modelling (VCM) technology, and there are two new effects - Real Distortion and Real Reverb.

The live controllers on the left hand side of the instrument have added functionality including Half-Bar fill-in and Mono-Legato mode.

Audio recording & playback functions have been upgraded on the PSR-S975 and it is now possible to display MP3 lyrics on screen.

The new PLUS sound and style category is pre-loaded with the Euro Dance and Salsa premium packs (which usually cost over £249 if purchased separately). Use the Yamaha Expansion Manager computer software to create your own expansion data sets containing content from multiple packs at once.

The Yamaha PSR-S975 has a MIC / Guitar input which can be recorded using the AUDIO record function. There are dedicated vocals effects available for the mic input, along with Vocal Harmony 2 and a synth vocoder effect.

The Yamaha PSR-S975 features two assignable Live Controllers, a modulation wheel and two assignable foot pedal inputs, ensuring that you have total control over Voices, Styles, effects and other functions during performance.

Newly implemented Half-bar fill-in and Mono Legato functions expand the variation of your performance. Live control settings can be immediately recalled from Registration Memory
