Construction

Starting of with a soft maple body which is slightly heavier than the widely used Alder but offers a rich and clear midrange, and a punch/snap at the higher frequencies, perfect for any slap or funk bass styles. Bolted to the body we have a maple neck with a Slim C profile, this profile allows for maximum comfort and grip whilst being slim enough for anyone to get their hands around. The neck also sports a vintage tinted gloss finish neck to stick true to the era and give the bass a great vintage look and feel.

Electronics

The Squier Vintage Modified 70s Jazz bass comes fitted with a set of standard Jazz bass single coil pickups which provide you with the classic Fender 'Jazz Bass Tone' and is extremely close to its Mexican made bigger brother. This Jazz bass has become widely popular as a gigging musicians back up or even main bass due to the fantastic build quality, feel and authentic jazz bass tone. The pickups are controlled by independent volumes for the Bridge and middle pickups and a master tone control, this gives you masses of variation with tones as you can blend the pickups into each other on the go and then control you master tone over the full sound output.
