The Focusrite Clarett 4Pre interface makes use of one of the fastest data connections available today combined with a top class ISA design pre-amp, 24bit 192kHz recording and latency as low as 1ms.
Thunderbolt Connection
Thunderbolt connectivity is taking the music recording scene by storm. Due to its super fast data transfer, it is the ideal connection to the computer for audio recording. It stability and speed ensure high quality audio recording can take place of many tracks at once.
Inputs/ Outputs
The Clarett 4 pre has a huge number of ways to route audio/ live inputs from external devices. On the font panel alone are 4 independent XLR/TRS combo balanced inputs with gain controls each with visual input signal indicators and each making use of the high quality pre-amp. The rear panel sports a further 4 TRS balanced inputs, MIDI in / Out, SPDIF and ADAT expansion port for connection to devices such as the Octopre MKII.
ISA Pre-Amps
There are 4 new pre-amps built in to the interface. The pre-amps are based on an original ISA design offering the renowned Focusrite sound and superior sound quality perfect for getting quality results in the studio.
Twin Headphone Outputs
Monitoring has never been easier. Independent headphone outputs, each with their own volume control, are mounted on the front panel. These are ideal for sending mixes to different people for recording and monitoring.
