Gretsch G5410T Electromatic Rat Rod Hollow-Body Guitar

The Classic G5420T body shape we all love but slimmed down to make it more comfortable for everyone. It is garnished with new cosmetic changes which gives the guitar a more aggressive look! Now featuring a matte body finish in a deep black colour, Red topped Black top FIltertron Pickups and matching red pick guard the new design scream attitude.

      Construction

The body is made up of laminated maple same, with an arched top and back as on the G5420T, braced with a sound post but now only with a body depth of 2.5" (63.5 mm) compared to the previous 2.75" (7 cm). Joined to the body you have a set-in Maple neck cut to the comfortable standard U shape and finished off in a matte finish to match the body of the guitar. A-top the neck is a Rosewood fingerboard cut to a 12" radius with 22 medium jumbo sized frets.

      Pickups & Electronics

The G5410T comes fitted with Gretsch's very own popular Black top Filter'Tron pickups which have a unique voice of their own, which gives you plenty of punch and provides that classic 50s snap sound that Gretsch guitars have always been known for. You have full control over these pair of humbucker pickups with a master volume control featuring a treble bleed circuit, Independent volume controls for each pickup, master tone control and a 3-way pickup selector switch.
