Gretsch G2420 Streamliner Hollow Body Electric Guitar Village Amber

The Streamliner range of guitars has been a huge success for Gretsch, bringing their top notch quality with unique sound and styling to a fantastic affordable price point. Starting at around £400 where as the previous Electromatic range was over £700, this has allowed Gretsch to broaden their customer base meaning younger people and students can now easily afford a Gretsch guitar.

      True to classic Gretsch styling

The G2420 sticks to the classic Gretsch styling with the big hollow body design which provides warmth and depth to the tone. Made from high quality laminated maple keeps the guitar lightweight and manageable even with the big body size. With a secured Adjusto-Matic bridge, black control knobs and tortoise shell pickguard the guitar looks quality. Joined to the body you have a Nato neck cut to the traditional Thin "U" profile. The G2520 has a 24.75" scale length paired with a 1.6875" Nut width meaning the neck is easily manoeuvrable and playable by anyone no matter size of your hands.

      Pure Vintage Tone

The G2420 comes fitted with a set of the classic Broad'tron BT-2S Humbucker pickups. Specifically designed for the streamliner series of guitars they provide you with a moderate output boasting an improved definition with tighter bass response for robust lows, pristine highs and a throaty midrange. Gretsch's control layout allows for masses of tonal variation with independent pickup volumes, master tone control and a master volume, this allows you to set independent levels for each pickup, set your master volume and switch between them with ease.

Established in 1983 A&C Hamilton Musical Instruments maintains a healthy balance of traditional business values with a keen sense for new business ideas. Getting new customers and keeping existing customers are equally important to us. As the internet has changed all our lives we continue to grow from strength to strength applying the tried and trusted methods of traditional retail sales to this new world of internet sales and store sales. The world is a smaller place but we are all still individuals within it. It is so much more fun selling to some one you can have a chat with, either email phone or in the shop than just sending boxes via couriers. Our company has a solid financial basis to trade and all premises are owned in full by the directors.

Our Music Shop is on the outskirts of Preston with forecourt parking for 8 cars. Our closest town is Blackpool and nearby is Lytham St Annes. Blackburn and Southport are close by. Lancaster, Morecambe, Wigan, Burnley, Ormskirk, Bolton, Leigh, Accrington are also near me. Manchester Liverpool and Cumbria are around an hour away.
