KROME Sounds

The Korg KROME has a whole range of sound to suit every genre of music. The sounds have been hand picked from a selection of their highest quality sounds. Pianos and drums are a main ingredient in todays music so the KROME has been kitted with high grade sounds direct from the flagship Korg KRONOS workstation. The incredible realistic piano sound uses multiple un-looped samples per every key in order to express the natural nuance and tones of the real piano. The acoustic drums are also made with ambient microphone positioning samples for a ultra-realistic drum sound experience. No matter what sound whether it be strings, saxophones, brass, synth or any other the quality of the work put into KROME is truly amazing.

Workstation Features

Being a versatile product the KROME has a powerful 16 track sequencer built in with a range of editing features to hand. With 16 track multi-timbrality it is possible to make great use of the 16 tracks in the sequencer. Copy and paste editing along with in-depth individual note editing including piano roll edit really make the KROME stand out beyond its class.

Powerful Effects Processing

Korg KROME is loaded with 193 different effects. It is possible to use a massive number of 8 effects simultaneously to change and taylor the sound exactly how you want it. 5 Insert effects can be assigned/ shared amongst any one of the 16 parts available along with 2 master effects and 1 total effect.

Perform Live

Korg KROME red has a dedicated drum track and dual polyphonic arpeggiators. The drum track and high quality rhythmic patterns to play along with . There are a huge number of preset patterns and it is possible to modify the drum sounds as well creating endless pattern possibilities. Dual polyphonic arpeggiators can be used to trigger any one of hundreds of in-built patterns that cover all types of rhythmic styles. Bass riffs, guitar patterns, leads, accompaniment patterns and more are all available and will follow the notes you play on the KROME in realtime. Combined with the drum track the live performance capabilities of the KROME are incredible.
