The Korg MicroKey 37 is compact in size at only 56.5cm long yet offers 37 velocity sensitive keys with superb response for controlling your virtual instruments and DAW software. Korg have also supplied a number of licences for an array of lite edition software so you can start playing almost instantly. Licenses for Applied Acoustics Systems Strum Acoustic Session, Lounge Lizard Session, and Ultra Analog Session as well as EzDrummer Lite, and a discount coupon for Ableton's "Live," "Live Suite," and "Live LE" DAW software all come as part of the MicroKey 37 package.
With MicroKey technology comes a new way of USB expansion for all your controlling needs. Dual USB ports on the side of the Mickey 37 and 61 models allow plug in expansion for extra controllers such as the Korg nano series controllers. This helps save on your computers sockets and keeps connectivity easy and clean.
Korg have somehow managed to fit the MicroKey chassis with pitch bend and modulation wheel controllers as well as octave shift and transpose buttons giving full scope over the range of notes available via MIDI.
