The PRS SE Custom 24 Quilt brings the original PRS to the more-accessible SE Series with the addition of a quilted maple top veneer and matching quilted maple headstock veneer. This model's polished aesthetic gives the guitar stage-worthy style to go with its road-worthy reliability. With a 24-fret, 25" scale length, Wide Thin maple neck, the SE Custom 24 Quilt is comfortable and addictive to play. The 85/15 "S" dual humbuckers and 3-way blade switch with push/pull coil-tap tone control offer versatility and full-spectrum tone. A fitting workhorse for touring musicians, professional players, and at home guitarists alike.

Construction

The Guitar is Made up of a mahogany body and neck that are glued to give you a fantastic resonant and full tone which gives the guitar a fantastic starting point on its tone. The neck has a rosewood fretboard, is 24 frets allowing you for that extra if it is needed, and spread across a 25" scale length for optimum comfort. The neck contour is a wide and thin profile which different from the other prs models giving you a losing grip for a faster and sleeker movement in your hand on the fretboard. To top it of the guitar has the Paul Reed Smith bird inlays up the neck, either a flamed or quilted maple top and bound body and fretboard to give the guitar the fantastic look it is known for.

Tone

The guitar comes Fitted with SE versions of the PRS 85/15 pickups which are made to be as close to the USA pickup set as possible but to a budget to keep the guitar at an affordable price and they sound amazing for the price. with the addition of the mahogany construction, smooth playability the coil tap feature allowing you to split the hum buckers to sound like single coils this guitar really does have it all and can produce a massive variety of sounds which can fit into any genre of music you could think of playing, This is what makes the custom 24 such a poplar guitar.

The PRS Horsemeat transparent overdrive is a from-scratch circuit designed to enhance guitar tone without coloring it. Using germanium diodes, Horsemeat will give throatiness without sounding nasal or too high-pitched and harmonic richness by boosting both low- and high-end frequencies, all while providing more available headroom.
