The Stealth Tune embedded guitar tuner operates by feeling vibrations from the strap pin of the instrument. Using resonance transducer technology the tuner operates as a totally true bypass system.
No electrical connection is required to operate the tuner. The chromatic tuner module does not rely on an audible signal. This means you guitar or bass (electric or acoustic) can be tuned even with the volume turned down.
The strap only responds to the local body resonance and therefore does not suffer from acoustic crosstalk or interferences from other instruments, amplifiers etc. You can now tune up on stage in a loud environment without interference from other players.
The LCD display screen is backlit with red indicating out of tune, changing to blue indicate in tune. Tune easily - even in the dark. Like all stringed instrument tuners, best results are achieved by muting the strings you are not tuning.
Attachment should be made via a standard strap pin or strap lock system. Lanyard or bootlace systems used on some acoustic guitars will degrade response.
