Classic synthesis with a modern design, the limited edition Roland JU-06 from the Boutique range, re-creates the classic Roland Juno 106 synthesizer sound and versatility in a compact sound module. Faithful to the original Juno, the module has a collection of 23 controllers for instant sound manipulation and contains original sounds such as the famous Juno Strings and even the Juno 106 chorus effect. Despite its rich vintage sound and design, the JU-06 offers a modern flavour with USB audio interfacing, Daw integration, 16 step sequencer, optional 25 note keyboard, dual ribbon controllers and new sound shaping options.
Instant Sound Manipulation
The JU-06 offers a clear layout of sound editing parameters and clearly how they link together in the signal path. This basic design principle allows users to dive in and get hands-on and creative with synthesis no matter if your an expert or completely new to synthesis. With 23 controllers to manipulate on the front panel, you will get instant sound satisfaction from the rich sound. There are some new additions too compared to the original Juno 106 including a faster LFO and continuously variable hi-pass filter (HPF).
25 Note Keyboard
As standard the Roland JU-06 does not have any keys to play the module. Roland have the options K-25M 25 note mini key controller available which allows the JU-06 module to simply slide in and play. The keyboard offers 3 differing angled positions for the module to sit allowing easy access to the front panel controls. With the battery powered capability and built0in speakers, the combo of the boutique module and mini keyboard allows it to be played virtually anywhere creativity strikes you.
Chain Mode
The JU-06 has 4 note polyphony as standard. However, by adding another module with the new chain mode, you can double the polyphony to 8 notes and operate is if it was one unit. Furthermore you can then add additional modules bringing up the polyphony up by 4 every time. The original Juno 106 was 6 note polyphony so it is easy to make the classic rich pads and sounds on the JU-06 straight from the box.
DAW Integration
Connect the JU-06 module to your computer via USB and it will become a high-quality 24bit, 44.1kHz audio interface, for a fast, simple and reliable way of recording directly to your DAW application. You can keep your favourite patches and sequencer patterns safe too, via the USB data backup function.
Battery Or USB Powered
It is possible to use either a USB bus power or battery power for the JU-06. This makes it incredible portable.
