The Yamaha MG82CX is the prefect mixer for production or live sound where quality of sound meets a relatively small number of inputs. The 8 input MG82CX is compact and offers vital live features such as effects combined with in-built channel compressors which are easy to modify and can really bring out the potential of your sound. Whether you have a home studio or a small band, the MG82CX will be perfect for you.
Inputs
Yamaha have incorporated 8 inputs (two mono microphone/line channels and three stereo line channels). The MG82CX has a trick up its sleeve as two of the stereo channels have microphone inputs meaning up to 4 microphones can be used at once. There are also CD/ Tape RCA inputs.
Essential Compression and Effects
Quality effects are essential for live performance and the MG82CX does not fall short. A comprehensive effects section with reverb, chorus, distortion and delay effects is built-in as standard. Effects parameters can be modifed for precise effects and each channel has its own control for the level of effect applied. An overall return level is also to hand. If you have no hands available and need some effects then the MG82CX also has a footswitch socket for convienient switching On/Off of effects when needed.
Effects are great but compression is essential to get the best of your vocal so Yamaha have included channel compression in to the MG82CX. Simple to use 1 knob control means you can adjust the compression easily and quickly to obtain the desired sound and bring it all to life.
