Yamaha have worked closely with developers, production engineers and specialists to create the ultimate, professional workstation. The Motif XF8 workstation is the result of all this work and with new options including 2Gb Flash memory expansion, VCM technology and an enormous 741Mb of waveforms youre sure not to be disappointed.
Yamaha have set the XF8 apart from the rest of the Motif range with a fully weighted and advanced Balanced Hammer Effect action. This support velocity and after-touch sensitivity. The response is designed to be a quality simulation of a real piano. Those who require a a workstation that can act as a top class piano then the XF8 does just that. The action works beautifully in co-operation with the new multi-layered piano samples and the result is a stunningly real piano with a great feel perfect for all pianists.
Among the new features of the Motif XF is the new 2Gb Flash memory option. Until now, when a user has loaded any samples the Motif loses them when turned off, then has to load them again when turned on leaving you waiting for some time! With the new Yamaha Motif XF Flash memory cards your samples are held permenently so there is no need to wait for your sounds and samples to load, access is instant like any preset.
After feedback from users Yamaha have adopted easier access and new features for the Motif XF making the system faster and more efficient so the user really can get the best from the powerful new sounds and sequencer in the Motif XF. A great new feature has been added allowing direct audio recording direct to USB stick at CD quality for instant song creativity.
