Construction

The Yamaha Revstar RS702B Black is made up of a mahogany body cut to a comfortable shape and it contoured to fit against your body snugly. A top of the mahogany body you have a maple cap and this tried and tested combination give a clear and resonant tone. Joined to the body you have a solid mahogany neck cut to a smooth and comfortable profile to suit everyone. attached to the body you have a Bigsby tremolo system which allows for a smooth tremolo action without effecting your tuning or tension too much. Finished off in the classy polished black finish it looks as stunning as it sounds and feels.

Sound and Control

The Yamaha Revstar RS702B Black comes fitted with a set of Yamaha's own designed VP5 P-90 Single-Coil Alnico V pickups, these high output P-90's produce an extremely clear and crisp sound. Paired with Yamaha's fantastic dry switch filter which is activated by a push/pull control on the tone pot, this gives you a huge range of sounds form one guitar. The dry switch rolls off the lower frequencies whilst still remaining clear and true to its tonal properties. To control these stunning pickups you have a 3-position blade switch, master tone control and a master volume control.
