73 Keys Hammer Action Key Touch
Don't compromise on feel, the Crumar Seven is equipped with a 73 key fatar hammer key action offering incredible dynamic response and a lovely weighted feel which is balanced perfectly for piano playing without being too heavy for those faster e.piano riffs and solos.
Seven Physical Modelling Engine + Sample Playback
Crumar have ensured the Seven offers the ultimate in sound authenticity by using physical modelling. Physical modelling takes mathematical representations of the waveform and everything that makes that waveform up using complex algorithms and fast microprocessing. The Crumar Seven bases its foundation on eight different powerful real-time synthesizers, each specifically designed and developed to faithfully reproduce one type of piano sound. And, just in case, number nine is a sample player.
The result of all this is a dynamic, responsive sound that has all the vintage nature and tone of the classic instruments, but at a fraction of the weight and with much more sound capability combined with modern technologies.
Clavi Tabs
When the Clavi E.P. engine is used in a preset, it is possible to use the preset buttons to switch the filters and the pickup selectors. These are arranged exactly the same as the Clavinet D6, which the Seven's synth engine simulates. The button right below the transpose section is labeled CLAVI TABS, push and hold it to switch the Clavi tabs for complete control.
In Depth Editor - Absolute Control With Built-In Wifi
Crumar Seven has a dedicated editor available to use via the built-in wifi system. The editor allows you to edit every parameter of the selected sounds to incredible depth. Whether you want to edit the metallic element of a tine bar, pickup offsets, hammer hardness, resonance or much much more, the Seven provides everything you need to create your dream sound. As there are 9 differing sound elements, each one has its own editable parameters suited to the selected model.
Powerful Effects Processing
Effects play a key role in sound quality and versatility. The front panel gives access to a range of different simultaneous effects processing features. Effects include those such as reverbs, delays, phaser, tremolo, auto-pan, was and much more. They can be combined with the amp drive control to create powerful dynamic tones with bite, perfect for stage, studio and cutting through the mix.
The effects are easily accessed via the top panel and the controls come with RGB backlit endless encoders which change colour depending on the effect and adjustment. The effects processor offers top quality sound processing further ringing out the quality of the sounds within the Crumar Seven sound engines.
