3rd Generation KRK RP8 G3 speakers are designed for larger rooms and studios where incredible audio quality and higher volumes are desired. These speakers use the latest modern design and speaker technology developed by KRK from many years of experience.
The RP8 G3 monitors use a combination of a 1" Silk dome tweeter and an 8" glass aramid composite woofer with a huge frequency response and sensitivity to detail. The new silk dome tweeter can respond up to 35kHz for super precise audio reproduction. The 8" woofer is lightweight in design but incredibly rigid so even at high volumes the speaker does not flex allowing for tight, deep bass at higher volumes.
On the rear panel are 3 main controls. High Frequency, Low frequency and volume. HF and LF controls allow the sound to be tailored to suit the environment of the speaker for hard and soft furnishings or speaker positioning. An array of input options also allow for a range of input connector types including RCA, 1/4" TRS and XLR.
The RP8 G3 series speaker looks great but in fact its styling helps create the precise sound of the speaker. On the underside of the speaker is a rubber pad to isolate the vibrations from the resting surface which can otherwise affect the sound.
