A brand new addition to Mapex's acclaimed Black Panther range, the Pegasus benefits from a combination of two separate tonewoods: maple and walnut. Maple wood provides the warm, all-purpose snare tones you know and love, while walnut - a much harder wood - is known for powerful, focused attack. The result is the Pegasus snare's thrilling blend of sonics. You can expect unrelenting attack, like the pounding of hooves against an open plain, as well as rich, resonant sounds that sing in harmony with the rest of your kit.
