      Construction

      The Martin D-X1E-01 truly stands out from the rest of the range martin produce! Consisting of sole High Pressure Laminate (HPL) body. Formed in the ever popular Dreadnought body shape, originally created and designed by Martin guitars themselves. The HPL on this guitar is used as it is extremely durable, consistent and doesn't require the chopping down of trees, saving the planet and giving you a solid consistent tone all at the same time. Joined to the body is a Natural Birch Laminate with a nice hand rubbed finish, cut to the performing artist neck shape. The neck sports 20 frets spanned across a richlite fretboard and joining the body at the 14th fret with a scale length of 25.4".
