    Portable Stage Piano

    Nord have added the ELectro 4 SW73 to the range of award winning portable stage keyboards/ pianos. The ELectro 4 takes its award winning components and technology from its predecessor and boasts new additional features for another, incredible addition to the Nord instrument range.



    Each Fatar keybed is meticulously calibrated at the Nord factory to ensure an even response over the whole range.

    Hammer Action Portable (HP)
    The HP keybed uses amazingly portable weighted hammer action piano keys. Perfect for electric and acoustic piano sounds, but also works great for organ playing.
    Key range E-E.

    Semi Weighted Waterfall (SW)
    This keybed type uses semi weighted organ type keys with a rounded "waterfall" tip, brilliant for rapid organ shredding and synthesizer licks, but also plays nice with piano sounds.
    Key range C-C on Electro 4D SW61 and F-F on Electro 4 SW73.

    The organ section of the Electro 4 SW73 takes the latest 3 sound engine technology of the Nord C2D. Original and natural quality sounds derived from 3 of the most famous organs which include the B3, Vox and Fafisa instruments. A new rotary 122 emulator brings out the sound of the B3 with a new overdrive emulation that takes the sound back tot he good ol days. The Nord Electro 4 SW73 organ sounds are all controlled from the digital LED drawbar section. Tabs and drawbars are electronically moved with up/down buttons under each LED drawbar showing its position and is great for live use being easy to see on stage.

    One of Nords most famous qualities is the piano sound. The pianos are sublime with an acoustic, authentic quality only found on Nord instruments. The Electro 4 SW73 is no different and offers some great controls including long release for smooth passages and string resonance for natural sounding harmonics. The piano sounds can also be updated and changed using the Nord piano library, downloads available from the Nord official website. There are a whole range of electric piano, clav and harpsichord sounds available.

    The Electro 4 73 has access to the entire Nord Sample Library. As standard it ships with a whole range of mellotron sounds, synth sounds, guitars and more but these can easily be updated and changed using the extensive Nord Sample Library downloads on the website. Even your own samples can be used in conjunction with the Nord sample editing software.

    All of the incredible sounds can be processed using the range of in-built effects. Delays, flangers, reverbs, chorus and more can be assigned to any one of the sounds in use. Effects can be easily controlled live using the assigned controller knobs on the top panel.
