Stage Compact EX- Live Use
Nord have designe dtheir Stage Compact EX to be powerful, functional and easy to use. This is great for on-stage use. The Compact EX has a vast array of controls on the front panel allowing the user to modify paramters live. Never be caught out when you need a change during a performance, the Stage Compact EX powers through no problem. The Stage Compact EX also weighs in at only 9.7KG. Perefect for carrying around.
Fantastic Key Touch
The Nord Stage Compact EX has a 73 note waterfall keyboard. This keyboard is based upon the old organ type keys with a modern twist. The feel is superb with the option to slide up and down without catching your hands on the specially designed keys.
Nord Stage Sound Source
The most important part of the Nord Stage Compact EX is the amazing sound source. Nord use 3 sections: Piano, Organ and Synth. Each section has its own polyphony, and can be used split or combined. Each section can also be used twice over i.e. 2x Organs, 2x Pianos etc to create a massive textured sound. The new V4 software offers up a new selection of improved sounds including fantastic new pianos.
The Organ section of the Stage Compact EX offers full digital drawbar control with a sound taken from the award winning Nord C1 organ. All the dirt, rotary noise, control and natural sound of the organ is faithfully re-created.
The pianos are now world renowned and the Compact EX is no different. Amazing painstaking work has gone in to make one of the world finest digital stage piano sounds. grand pianos, uprights, classic E.Piano, Wurli and more are to hand at the touch of a button
Finally the Synth Section of the Stage Compact EX offers a great selection of pads, bass and synth with plenty of control for changing attack, decay, renoant filters etc. The quality is no different to that of the piano and organ section of the Stage Compact, it is stunning.
